hardhack is a hands-on hardware event in berlin, germany. this will be the 2nd incarnation of hardhack. last year it had about 40 participants, this year about 150 participants are expected . the main deal with hardhack is that it consists of all hands on hardware hacking, no powerpoint presentations! no blah blah! there will be tons of table space and power strips and a variety of hands-on workshops from soldering to modding to firmware hacking for a range of experience levels from complete beginners to electrical engineers.
