liquidity :: oil + condutive ink lamps

liquidity

Another beautiful piece by Patrick Stevenson Keating via the Bare Conductive website:

For the 2012 Milan Furniture Fair, Patrick Stevenson-Keating put together some incredible lamps using Bare Paint suspended in oil. The lamps work by tilting them in such a way that the blob of Bare Paint will make contact between the two electrodes extending from the bulb. To turn the bulb off, you just rotate or tilt the lamps until the paint is no longer making contact.
